The 2008 Trumps Shiraz was aged in predominately new American oak for 17 months. A glass-coating purple color, it displays a smoky, toasty, spicy nose leading to a fruit-filled, succulent Shiraz with a bit of underlying structure. This lengthy effort will evolve for 1–2 years but can be enjoyed now and over the next 6–8 years.
