Although Ste. Michelle states there is only chardonnay in this non-vintage wine, there is a delightful riesling-like freshness to both the nose and flavor. Firm acidity frames appealing apple, pear and apricot flavors. The wine is nicely balanced with a touch of sweetness — or is it just the ripe fruit? A festive wine and with a price to celebrate.

State Champion Sparkling Wine. Medium to full-bodied. Spicy, aggressive flavors of peaches and apricots. Long lingering finish carries on the ripe fruit profile.

Fresh and tangy, with a zing to the unusual apple and tomatillo flavors, playing against lime and a cool hint of espresso. Drink now.

This simple bubbly has a broad, citrusy scent and fresh, persistent mousse. A good value for a sparkling aperitif.

Light and elegant, with a trace of citrus and peach flavor. Extremely dry and tart, but with finesse and elegance. A wonderful everyday sparkler.

Here is a soundly made, attractively packaged and priced, lightweight bubbly. Subtle cinnamon spice enhances the green apple and aromas. Nice weight and clean mouthfeel, with a refreshing,bone-dry finish, capped off with lots of beery bubbles.

…continue to be fine bargains. The wines are clean, have crisp, zesty fruit, good effervescence, and light-bodied, fruity finishes. The Blanc de Blanc tastes more delicate than the slightly fuller Champagne Brut.

Fresh, young and aggressive, with notes of apple and ginger backed by crisp acidity. Clean and refreshing, a well-made bubbly at a price that makes it a solid choice for holiday parties.
