The outstanding 2009 Shiraz/Cabernet boasts a deep purple color in addition to super-ripe mulberry and boysenberry fruit interwoven hints of cedar box, pepper, and underbrush. An opulent, voluptuously textured red with beautiful density and purity as well as a succulent style, it should drink nicely for 4–5 years.

Dark and juicy, with ripe blackberry, tart cherry and plum. These flavors lead to layers of licorice, soft exotic spice, tobacco leaf, cigar box, and a touch of mineral-laden chocolate. Firm tannins and balanced acidity drive the fruit and minerality long into the softly spiced finish.
