A nice Cabernet, on par with the winery’s equally fine 2008. Shows plenty of class, with rich blackberry, currant and cedar flavors. Earns points for sheer elegance. Ready to drink now.

A sturdy, rich, extracted Cabernet at an appealing price. Dense, firmly tannic and concentrated, with ripe plum, black licorice, lead pencil and shavings, ending chewy. Drink now through 2020.
