Good ruby-red color. Aromas of dark plum and smoked meat. Supple, fat and rich, with a low-acid impression to its flavors of sweet-plum, smoke and iron. A solid, rather muscular version of this “blue collar” variety, finishing with round, soft tannins and good length.
