Superfresh, with vibrant tangerine, yellow apple and heather notes backed by nice cut on the mineral-filled finish. A deliciously unadorned style. Drink now through 2012.

Bright yellow. Pungent melon, pit fruit and dried fig aromas, lifted by exotic floral and lees notes that gain strength with air. Dry but fleshy nectarine and pear flavors become sweeter with air and pick up a gentle tarragon note. Stains the palate on the incisive finish, which leaves sweet honeydew, orchard fruit and herbal notes behind. I’d like to see this up against a number of $50+ American chardonnays.
