This sparkler’s aromatic nose provides floral scents and a touch of anise. The rich, creamy mouthfeel ends slightly sweet, making this an enjoyable beverage with a unique style. Has enough depth to match with oysters or lobster.

Often, extra dry Prosecco offers a decptively sweet bouquet. Part of the reason for this is that smaller percentages of Chardonnay, Verdisio and Blanchetta have been added to the Prosecco blend. That is the case here, though this wine has a broader, fuller nose with ripe peach, honey, flowers and a chalky element.

The estate’s NV Extra Dry Spumante Sergio Mionetto reveals pretty notes of flowers and white peaches in a delicate, feminine style. Drink this tasty sparkling wine from Veneto over the next year or two. This is lot TV6621. Anticipated maturity: 2008–2009.

There’s a lot more flinty chalkiness in this wine, beyond the apple and melon, which makes it stand out from others. Prosecco, Chardonnay, Bianchetta and Verdiso go into this wine, vinified without skin contact, which explains its pale, delicate hue.

Here’s a refreshing and luminous sparkler with easy aromas of citrus, peach and white mineral. This Prosecco would match perfectly with finger foods and fried calamari thanks to the wine’s floral flavors and crisp acidity.
