The 2006 Gamonal is 100% Prieto Picudo aged for 9 months in new French and American oak. Dark ruby-colored, it reveals an expressive bouquet of cedar, spice box, cherry, and black raspberry. This leads to an elegant, smooth-textured wine with excellent depth and concentration. The flavors dance gently across the palate into a pure, lengthy finish. Drink this stylish effort over the next 6–8 years.

Dark red. Cherry, rose and mint on the nose, with a subtle mintiness adding energy. A bit tart on entry but gains flesh and sweetness with air, picking up bitter cherry and dark berry character. Finishes with tangy minerality and good bite.

This distinctive red offers bright flavors of morello cherry, leafy herb and orange peel, with lively acidity and firm tannins. Tart cherry and floral notes linger.
