This is a spicy, zesty syrah with firm, peppercorn-scented tannins that grip its juicy blueberry flavor. With air, aromas of sage and thyme emerge to give it a sense of complexity. What’s most appealing is the balance between the wine’s silky texture and lean, fresh flavor. Try it with spicy Thai sausage.

Bright ruby. Delicate aromas of raspberry and cherry, with a floral quality adding complexity. Juicy, pinot-like red berry flavors pick up a touch of black pepper with air, reminding me that this is actually syrah. Finishes a bit short but with good sappiness and a note of black olive.
