Where can we ship wine?
Many states restrict or prohibit the shipment of wine. Unfortunately, that means we cannot ship to everyone that would like to purchase wine on our site. We do apologize for the inconvenience if your state laws prevent us from servicing your area. If we are unable to arrange shipment to you, you might wish to provide us with an alternate shipping address in a nearby state to enable you to make an online purchase.
We are also unable to ship orders to PO Boxes.

What shipping options are available?
UPS handles all deliveries, and bottle insurance is included on all orders. To receive a shipping quote for your order, please click the button below (you must have items in your cart to receive your shipping quote):
If something is lost or broken, please inform us within two days and a call tag will be issued to pick up your original shipment at a chosen location; a new shipment will be sent once the merchandise has been returned.
There is no charge for local pickup at our store. Please allow 24 hours for us to prepare your order.
How long will it take for my order to ship?
Most orders ship within 24-48 hours of purchase, though it may take as many as 3 business days in some circumstances, depending on the time the order is placed and carrier schedules. Orders placed between Sunday and Thursday during normal business hours will generally ship within one day. Orders placed on the weekend may take longer to ship due to shipping constraints.
If your order is time sensitive, please include a note in the comments field on the order confirmation page, or call us. All orders are confirmed by e-mail after they are submitted.
What products may be shipped?
Wines of any size may be purchased for in-store pickup. Only .375ml, .500ml, .750ml, and in some cases (depending on bottle shape), 1.0 liter size bottles of wines can be shipped.
No spirits may be shipped out-of-state at this time, but certain .750ml and 1L bottles of spirits (depending on bottle shape) are available to ship within New York state. All spirits may be ordered online for in-store pickup.
How do we prevent damage associated with hot or cold weather?
Please be advised we do not ship if the local temperature is 80° or above or 20° or below. Go to www.weather.com to determine if your area is safe to ship. Please advise us if you would like us to hold your shipment in our temperature-controlled warehouse until it is safe to ship.
Weather Damage: All wines are stored in our climate-controlled warehouse, but once they leave our facility we can no longer protect them from weather-related damage. Premium Wines & Spirits is not responsible for any wines that are damaged by excessive heat or cold during the shipping process.
What's our return policy?
Corked or otherwise defective bottles must be returned within 6 months of purchase with at least 75% of the wine remaining. Wine purchased after six months may not be returned. Furthermore, as is customary in the retail wine industry, any bottle in excess of 10 years old cannot be returned for any reason and the purchaser assumes all risk.
A restocking or cancellation fee of 10% of the price of the wine in addition to the original shipping charges will apply to any cancelled order that has shipped and been returned.
Is my personal information safe? Will you share it?
Premium Wine & Spirits has the highest respect for our customers and is firmly committed to your privacy. We do not sell any of the information provided by you during registration to any other institutions.
By registering to purchase on this website, you are automatically added to our mailing list for both e-mails and catalogs. If you wish to opt-out of our e-mail list, you may use the unsubscribe link included in every e-mail. To opt-out of either electronic or postal mailings, please contact the store by phone, mail or e-mail.
All credit card information is sent to a secure server, using encrypted data that cannot be received or deciphered by other merchants. If you are not comfortable with releasing your credit card information via our website, you may place your order by phone or fax.
How do we verify your age?
All customers are required to prove that they are at least 21 years old at the time they place their first order. Normally, this is done through an online verification service as part of the checkout procedure. In the event we are unable to verify your age (for example, if you have a Canadian or other non-US address), you may submit proof of age via e-mail or fax. Please call us for instructions on how to submit your proof.
All wines that are shipped on your behalf must be received and signed for by an adult of legal drinking age. We recommend you have your order shipped to your business address unless you are sure an adult of legal drinking age will be at your home to receive the shipment.
What other policies should you know?
Other Ways to Order: If, for any reason, you do not wish to place an order online, you may also order by phone or fax, provided you can provide us with a legal form of ID.
Rare Wine Policy: All rare wines sold at Premium Wine & Spirits have been acquired through licensed distributors or wholesalers at the time of initial release or by means of auction transfer from the inventory of another Premier Group member store. No wine sold by Premier Group member stores has been sourced through private collections or under any circumstances where we have not been the sole owner of the wine. Every bottle has been carefully inspected by our experts and is properly stored in our temperature and humidity-controlled reserve room from the moment the wine is added to our retail inventory.
However, buyers of older and more fragile wines must make proper allowances for natural variations of ullage and general condition. Wines less than 10 years of age can be assumed to be in generally excellent condition unless otherwise indicated. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import any wines into any state. By placing an order with Premium Wine & Spirits, the buyer acknowledges sole responsibility for the shipment of wine and other goods purchased and for determining the legality and the tax/duty consequences of having the wine shipped to him or her.
Items represented on this site constitute only an offer to sell. Even after you have placed an order online, the sale is not complete until an employee of Premium Wine & Spirits Wines has accepted and processed the order.
All orders, including orders designated for in-store pickup, must be paid in advance. No order will be considered complete until payment has been submitted. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. All credit card data is transmitted securely.
All items shown on this website are believed to be in stock; however, because real-time data is not available, it is possible that a given item may be sold in our store during the time between data updates. For items marked as "limited quantity," your order may be delayed while we double check our stock and, if necessary, check with our distributors to locate additional inventory. In instances of older vintages and other rare bottlings, we will do our best to fill your order but cannot be held responsible if an item is unobtainable at that time.
