The bouquet features deep notes of butterscotch, nougat, almond paste and light vanilla. The palate entry offers succulent flavors of almond paste, candy and oaky vanilla; the midpalate is woody, caramel-like, with hints of dried yellow fruit, white pepper and spice. Finishes balanced, sweet and oaky.

Nose is much more integrated than the others; caramel and light honey tones with an oaky vein. After four CCs that were sequentially innocent, clumsy, eager, and balanced, this one is confident: well-rounded, sweet but not goopy, oaked but not prickly. Well-named: this is a classic Canadian.
