Silky-smooth and generous with its cherry and spice flavors, nicely balanced against refined tannins, lingering easily. Drink now through 2014.

Glass-staining ruby. Oak-spiced dark berry aromas are complicated by notes of cracked pepper and licorice. Fleshy and broad in the mouth, offering sweet boysenberry and singed plum flavors and building tannins. Finishes with solid grip and lingering dark fruits. I like this wine’s structure and focus.

This Australian Shiraz has all the charms of an “Aussie Beauty!” With hints of black currants, blueberries and plum, its flavor is wonderful. Rich earthy tones, not typical of the Barossa Valley, make it even more of a gem. Medium finish that’s smooth on the palate –– a real charmer. Enjoy!
