  2. Château Le Devoy Martine Lirac Via Secreta

    2018 / 750 ml. | Item#55026

    RP91+91–93 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 31st Oct 2019
The 2018 Lirac Via Secreta includes a healthy 40% Mourvèdre, with the rest of the assemblage evenly divided among Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah. While the nose is subdued, with just hints of cherries and mint, the palate is full-bodied, ripe and expansive, framed by silky tannins. It’s almost creamy, yet vibrant at the same time, with a fresh, zesty finish.
    WE9090 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/31/2020
Loads of violet and lilac perfume accent fresh, primary blackberry and plum flavors in this irresistibly fruity blend of Mourvèdre (40%), Cinsault (20%), Grenache (20%) and Syrah (20%). It’s not a deeply complex wine but voluptuous and immediately likable. Fine, feathery tannins and a touch of minerality linger on the finish. Ready now but should hold through 2024.

  6. Domaine Brusset Tradition Le Grand Montmirail Gigondas

    2017 / 750 ml. | Item#50106

    RP90+90–94 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 31st Oct 2018
Loaded with cassis and blueberry fruit, the 2017 Gigondas Tradition les Grands Montmirail is full-bodied and supple, yet it seems nearly weightless on the palate; that’s how easy it is to drink already. Silky and long, this is lovely stuff for drinking over the next 7–8 years. Tasted twice, with consistent notes.
    VN9090 pts. - Vinous - Feb 2020
Translucent ruby. Smoke-accented cherry and dark berry aromas, along with suggestions of licorice and pungent flowers. Taut and energetic on the palate, offering bitter cherry, cassis and floral pastille flavors and a spicy snap of cracked pepper. The smoky note repeats on the persistent finish, which is framed by youthfully chewy tannins.

    2019 / 750 ml. | Item#53573

    VN91+91–93 pts. - Vinous - May 2020
Mineral-accented dark fruit and floral aromas are energized by a jolt of spicy black pepper. Fleshy, juicy and nicely concentrated, offering finely etched boysenberry, cherry and floral pastille flavors that tighten up on the back half. Densely packed yet energetic as well, finishing with sharp clarity, smooth tannins and strong persistence. Made from fruit grown on the granitic soils of Saint-Jean-du-Muzols.
