Bright orange-pink. Spice-tinged aromas of fresh red berries and blood orange on the perfumed nose. Supple and concentrated but lively, offering juicy raspberry and bitter cherry flavors sharpened by a spicy jolt of white pepper. Finishes chewy and tight, with good persistence and a sneaky floral quality.

    RP9191 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 28th Apr 2017
Light in color, yet not in flavor, the 2016 Côtes du Roussillon Miraflors Rose (60% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre and 10% Carignan) offers terrific notes of white cherries, strawberries and rose petals in a medium-bodied, layered, impeccably balanced style that’s just hard to resist. It doesn’t have the chiseled feel of the Grande Cuvee, but it offers just as much pleasure.
    VN8989 pts. - Vinous - Jun 2017
Pale orange. Aromas of orange zest, red berries, white flowers and peach show very good clarity and a subtle mineral nuance. Juicy and sharply focused in the mouth, offering vibrant strawberry and tangerine flavors that gain weight and become spicier with air. Silky and dry, finishing with good focus and stony persistence.
    WS8888 pts. - Wine & Spirits - August 31, 2017
“Young vine” is a relative term: At Lafage, it refers to the parcels that are 25 to 75 years old. That’s where this wine, a blend of mourvèdre and grenache gris, originates. The wine channels its youth in its bright, fresh flavors, a mix of citrus and berries that brings to mind an adult lemonade, and yet it also has enough structure to match wood-roasted fish.
