  3. Tardieu-Laurent Les Becs Fins

    2019 / 750 ml. | Item#54520

    JD90+90–92 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 12/14/2020
A similar deep purple/red, the 2019 Cotes Du Rhone Les Becs Fins is another expressive, complex, outstanding wine from this estate. Black raspberries, saddle leather, peppery garrigue, and sandalwood emerge from the glass of this medium to full-bodied, balanced 2019 that has silky tannins and loads of character. It too is ideal for enjoying over the coming 5–6 years. (Jeb Dunnuck)

Solid, this red has a fleshy, juicy feel, with anise-laced plum and blackberry pâte de fruit notes, backed by a graphite edge on the lightly toasted finish. Drink now through 2024. 5,000 cases made, 200 cases imported.

  6. Felino Chardonnay

    2018 / 750 ml. | Item#44365

A juicy and rich wine with sliced pear and apple with hints of caramel. Medium to full body, light butterscotch and some green apple at the finish. No malo. Vibrant acidity. Drink now.

Pale silver-yellow. Classic Chardonnay fruit aromas of peach, fresh apricot and pear are complicated by sexy nuances of flowers, hazelnut and spices. Rich, sweet and ripe on the palate, with just enough framing acidity to maintain its balance; the wine’s oak component is under control. Nicely concentrated for a Chardonnay at this price point. The slightly phenolic finish features a touch of salinity and some dusty minerality.

Peach and nectarine aromas are fresh and show hints of sea shell and wool. This feels crisp and stony despite being fairly full in body, while apple flavors are lightly spiced and more basic than complex. Acidic zest keeps this lively on the finish.
