"Outside of the green glass bottle, this Speyside blend is a soft, light gold. Toffee dominates the aroma, with a little smoke and citrus mixed in. On the palate, it’s sweet, light, caramelly, with a whiff of smoke on the finish, reminiscent of some Irish whiskies. Very pleasant sipping." (89 pts.)
WE8989 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 9/1/2011 This spirit needs some time to open up, and then mild raisin and burnt-orange aromas peek through. Caramel flavors give over to a lingering smoky finish. The distiller claims that this blend is the only one created for mixing; surely it would be nice served tall, with lots of ice and ginger ale.
