Standard lemon-lime aromas open this quaffable Cava. In the mouth, it’s creamy and soft but not mushy, with candied mango, papaya and vanilla flavors that finish sweet.
    RP8585 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 1st May 2011
Segura Viudas’ entry level Cava, the Non-Vintage Brut Reserva offers up a pleasant perfume of yeast notes, biscuit, and green apple. It is a straightforward, lively, slightly off-dry bubbly that is a good value for drinking over the next 12–18 months.

Clean and bright, this juicy white follows a simple line of flavor. The acidity is lively — mouthwatering coastal refreshment for anything from the raw bar, particularly clams on the half shell.

    JS9393 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Thursday, November 7, 2019
A beautifully colored and intense pinot grigio with sliced cooked apples and peaches and hints of watermelon and almonds. Full body. Very creamy texture and a flavorful finish. Drink or hold.
    VN91+91+ pts. - Vinous - Jan 2020
Pale pink. Very delicate red berry and floral aromas and flavors are enhanced by good spicy cut and a mineral edge. Nicely juicy and saline freshness on the slightly tactile, rising, long finish.
    WS9090 pts. - Wine & Spirits - December 1, 2019
This is a rich and flamboyant pinot grigio, its juicy flavors of pale strawberry and peach overshadowed by notes of toasted nuts and spice from nine months in barriques. The warm, weighty finish is refreshed by balancing mandarin-like acidity.

  9. Château La Diligente

    2015 / 750 ml. | Item#47717

    WE9292 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 5/1/2018
This 30-acre estate offers an excellent wine that demonstrates the balance between the ripeness of Merlot and the more restrained nature of the Cabernets. Add in the barrel aging, and the wine has both structure and elegance. Drink from 2022.
    JD9090 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - November 30, 2017
Formerly known of Moulins-Listrac, Chateau La Diligente was recently purchased and renamed by François Rudloff and his wife Monique Cheong. Their 2015 is a classy effort that has lots of red currants and cherry fruit characteristics as well as ample background spice, hints of oak, and forest floor. With medium-bodied richness, beautiful purity of fruit, and impeccable balance, it’s a beautiful wine that’s going to benefit from 2–3 years of bottle age and drink nicely for a decade or more. More elegant and complex than powerful, this has real character and is worth seeking out.

  12. Quinta do Noval Unfiltered Late Bottled Vintage Porto

    Single Vineyard
    2011 / 750 ml. | Item#16678

    WE9292 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/1/2016
Coming from the great 2011 vintage, this is an impressive wine. It is rich, smooth and generous in the mouth. Dark dried fruits and acidity create a wine that is on the dry side of Ports. The tannins and acidity and the fact the wine is unfiltered mean it could age although ready now. Drink until 2030.
    SP9090 pts. - Wine Spectator - Nov 30, 2016
Features lots of pepper notes to the plum and dark cherry flavors, with graphite accents. Creamy and spicy on the finish, showing hints of milk chocolate. Drink now. 800 cases imported.

  15. Laurent-Perrier Brut L-P

    NV / 750 ml. | Item#57776

    SP9191 pts. - Wine Spectator - Nov 15, 2011
Refined, with a sweet, smoky undercurrent to the flavors of glazed pear, candied lemon zest and golden raisin, with a hint of marzipan. Racy acidity frames — but doesn’t dominate — the wine, with a spicy note lingering on the finish. Best from 2012 through 2016. 12,000 cases imported.
    ST9090 pts. - Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar - Nov/Dec 2002
Fairly pale color. Complex, soil-inflected, smoky nose combines pineapple, peach, apricot, rose petal, cinnamon and mace; reminded me of Condrieu. Fresh and ripe in the mouth, with impressively intense flavors of fruits and spices. Finishes strong and spicy, with a late note of pink peppercorn.
    WE9090 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/1/2014
Fresh and crisp, this is bright with acidity as well as warmer fruitiness. It brings out the dry Laurent-Perrier style, balanced by soft creamed apples and fragrant acidity. Light and fruity at the end, it is ready to drink.
    WS8787 pts. - Wine & Spirits - December 1, 2006
The spicy cologne of sapwood and the sweetness of caramel show the oak influence in the Chardonnay-dominated wine. It’s soft and buttery-rich, for seared salmon.
