    2014 / 750 ml. | Item#40594

    WE9090 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 7/1/2017
Exotically fruity with an enticing floral character, this full-bodied, almost-sweet wine has lots to appreciate. It starts with a complex bouquet of black currant, cedar and ripe black cherry and continues on the palate with ripeness and concentration, without a lot of tannin.

Vivid ruby. Energetic aromas of black raspberry, licorice pastille and lavender, with a peppery element emerging as the wine opens in the glass. Sappy red and dark berry and cherry pit flavors are enlivened by juicy acidity and a hint of smoky minerality. Finishes with lingering spiciness and silky, harmonious tannins that sneak in late. This wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks and then aged in used French oak barrels for ten months.

    RP9393 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 29th Apr 2015
Made from a block of Syrah vines that are planted on steep, granite soils (which is unique as this region is mostly limestone) facing the Mediterranean Sea, the 2013 Corse XX270 sports an inky purple color to go with incredible granite influence in its liquid rock, blackberry, raspberry, floral and peppery bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, with incredible purity, this is a seriously elegant, classically styled Syrah to drink over the coming decade.

    JS9191 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Wednesday, May 13, 2015
This is a very balanced and refined pinot with a lovely fine tannin texture and length. Lots of dark fruits and spices. More Sonoma County than Cote d’Or. You are going to like it. Drink now.
    RP8989 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 27th Aug 2015
Marginally better than the “joven,” the 2014 Alto Limay Select Pinot Noir has a bit more depth, concentration and ripeness. Here, 30% of the wine matured in new French and American oak barrels while the rest was kept in stainless steel vats, but there is no trace of new oak in either nose or palate. Silky with fine tannins and good acidity, this is a very worthy, light, Pinot Noir. 36,000 bottles produced.

    ST9090 pts. - Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar - Sep/Oct 2014
Good dark red. Bright aromas of redcurrant, licorice and wild herbs. Sweet on entry, then fresh and juicy in the middle, showing moderate flesh and texture but attractive vibrancy to its red berry and licorice flavors. This sweet, soft wine offers plenty of early appeal and is a terrific value.

    Anthony Road Riesling Dry

    2015 / 750 ml. | Item#44152

    VN9090 pts. - Vinous - Jul 2016
Though a younger wine, the 2015 Dry Riesling is already far more open-knit and ready to drink than the ’14. A succulent, juicy beauty that is peachy to its core, this wine offers a nose of white nectarine, white peaches, pear blossoms and green tea. Texturally it is quite generous, though an electric acidity snakes through the fruit, adding life and interest. 7 grams per liter residual sugar.

Scents of jalapeño and passion fruit perk up this yeasty sauvignon, while smoky earthiness grounds the flavors in a savory end. This is soft and ready to chill for poached prawns or other fresh shellfish.
