"Fino can be simple and fresh, saline and clean, but also massive and complex, a monument of a place like this Puerto Fino, the flagship of Lustau. The complexity here starts right from the scent, a cloud of salt, green apples and chalk. At first sip, its silky texture and salty almond flavor immediately entice; then, with air, a strong chalkiness emerges. The wine feels as if it is made of chalk and marine breezes.
