This blend of 57% Chardonnay, 41% Pinot Noir and 2% Pinot Meunier is drier than the winery’s Extra Dry Riche. It is softly textured, layered in green apple and pear, and offers a medium finish. A versatile wine for pairing, it makes a good go-to for larger gatherings.

WE9595 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 11/1/2024
It is the 57th bottling of these bubbles. I hope you pick one up to enjoy. This wine is bright, with aromas of Golden Delicious apple, orange blossom, acacia honey and mineral on the nose. Flavors are of baked Bosc pear, mandarin orange, fresh walnut, toasted brioche and kaffir lime. The wine offers a subtle, creamy mousse, with a long, lifted and dry finish. (Tonya Pitts)
SP9191 pts. - Wine Spectator - Sep 9, 2024

RP8888 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 31st Aug 2010
The NV Prosecco Brut is a richer, creamier wine than the Brut Cuvee Private. Here the fruit tends towards ripe yellow peaches, with flowers, spices and minerals that add complexity. The finish is long, generous and nicely balanced. This is Lot 1013708. Anticipated maturity: 2010–2012.
RP8888 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 1st Aug 2008
The NV Prosecco Brut shows noticeably more character as its bursts from the glass with an engaging array of aromas and flavors. It comes across as generous and expansive on the palate, with excellent length and lovely harmony. Anticipated maturity: 2008–2009.
SP8686 pts. - Wine Spectator - Oct 15, 2021
This tangy Prosecco is creamy on the palate, with the lively bead carrying flavors of grapefruit, green almond and crunchy nectarine. A hint of petrol shows on the crisp finish. Drink now. 155,000 cases made, 45,000 cases imported. (Alison Napjus)
WS8686 pts. - Wine & Spirits - August 1, 2014
Muscat-like in its fruit-basket aromas, this contrasts that fresh fruit with notes of marzipan and almond sweetness. Serve it with fresh peaches at the end of a meal.
SP8686 pts. - Wine Spectator - May 31, 2000
Here’s a value worth celebrating: A thick, full-bodied sparkler with a bountiful honeydew character, light bead and fresh finish. Drink now.

SP8787 pts. - Wine Spectator - Dec 31, 2011
This shows more finesse than many of its peers, displaying a subtle juiciness, joined by aromatic apricot, quince, mandarin orange and almond notes. Finely meshed with a lightly spiced finish. Drink now. (Alison Napjus)
WS8686 pts. - Wine & Spirits - August 1, 2014
Bold and juicy passion fruit scents combine with the flinty, rubber-meets-the-road reduction character typical of Cava. This is rich and round, finishing clean. Chill it for grilled calamares and other tapas.
RP8686 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 1st May 2011
The lineup begins with the Non-Vintage Cordon Negro made from the three traditional grape varieties of the Cava DO (Xarel-lo, Macabeu, and Parellada) with the emphasis on the latter for this bottling. It is made in a tasty, friendly style with a dosage of 9 grams making it just off-dry on the palate. It is a cleanly made sparkling wine that can be found in discount stores at well under the suggested retail price.
WE8585 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/15/2011
Cidery on the nose, with a standard palate and mildly briney flavors of apple and other basic white fruits. Highly regular, with a decent finish. A quaffer or the type of Cava to mix with orange juice.
SP8585 pts. - Wine Spectator - Aug 31, 2017
This balanced Cava is fresh and open-knit, offering easy-drinking flavors of fresh-cut apple, apricot and lemon peel, with a hint of smoke-tinged petrol. Drink now. 1,630,000 cases made, 360,000 cases imported. (Alison Napjus)

Complexity and richness are matched by good acidity and a gentle mousse in this welcoming, generous wine. Citrus and crisp apple flavors are accented by earthy, flinty nuances. Made from 54% Pinot Noir, 44% Chardonnay and a dash of Pinot Gris. (Jim Gordon)

Shop for Sparkling Wine & Champagne Online

Production of sparkling wine began at the end of the 1500s, with the advent of the production for stronger glass bottles. The most well known type of sparkling wine is Champagne, hailing from the French region of the same name.

There are many sparkling wine brands out there, from the high-end to low-end in price and quality. In fact, many sparkling wine brands from California put out high-scoring, well-made wines that may compete head-to-head with the best types of Champagne. Some California sparkling wine brands may even score, and taste, better than good Champagne of France.

Types of Champagne range from Brut (driest in style), to Rosé (pink in color), to sweeter styles such as demi-sec. You can find many types of Champagne to buy on www.winetransit.com
