A sleek Champagne, with flavors of white cherry and blood orange that are ripe and expressive, accented by honeysuckle, minerally chalk and sliced almond notes. Well-knit and fine in texture. Mouthwatering finish. Disgorged November 2017. Drink now through 2022. 3,000 cases made, 300 cases imported.

Pretty floral and spice notes waft through flavors of green melon and blanched almond in this well-cut Champagne. It’s lively and refreshing, with a creamy viscosity to the mouthfeel and a salty, mineral-driven finish. Disgorged February 2019. Drink now through 2023. 15,000 cases made, 800 cases imported.

Where It's From

Region / Champagne

View more wines from Champagne

Bring on the bubbly! Perhaps no other wine region in the world has the name recognition of Champagne, to the point where people often mistakenly use the word "Champagne" to describe any sparkling wine. Yet only wines produced within the region can legally be called "Champagne," and to this day it produces some of the finest sparkling wines known to earth.

Country / France

View more wines from France

The French did not invent winemaking. They simply perfected it. For centuries, France has been producing wines that inspire poetry, awe, and wonder; wines that blur the lines between nature, craftsmanship, cuisine and art. These are the wines that inspired cultures around the globe to follow in France’s footsteps, planting Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Grenache, Merlot, Semillon and more.

Yet as often as they are emulated, the magic of their terroirs can never be duplicated. You may taste Cabernet from around the world, but perhaps none as elegant and regal as Bordeaux. You may try Pinot Noir or Chardonnay from various climates, but none with the earth-bound soul and ethereal reach of Burgundy.

ST9393 pts. - Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar - Nov/Dec 2011
Green-tinged yellow. Pineapple, pear, candied ginger and vanilla bean on the scented nose, with a chalky overtone adding lift. Dry and impressively focused, offering lively citrus and orchard fruit flavors that pick up smokiness and exotic floral and spice qualities with air. Leaves a strong mineral note behind on the long, spicy, floral-accented finish.
SP9393 pts. - Wine Spectator - Dec 15, 2017
A mouthwatering, seamless Champagne that caresses the palate like raw silk, with vibrant acidity framing rich and finely meshed flavors of nectarine, chopped almond, fleur de sel and honey. Offers a long, chalky finish of lime blossom and spice. Disgorged December 2015. Drink now through 2022. 450 cases imported.
RP9292 pts. - Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate - 30th Oct 2011
The NV Brut Cuvee Grand Cellier possesses gorgeous intensity in its piercing notes of lemon, white flowers and spices. Smoky, floral notes continue to emerge as the wine shows off its class and sheer energy. This is a great showing from the Grand Cellier. The Grand Cellier is 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir. This release is based on 2008, with reserve wines from 2007 and 2006. The fruit is sourced from Les Hautes Greves and Les Basses Greves, both in Rilly la Montagne. Dosage is 10 grams per liter. Disgorged May 2011. Anticipated maturity: 2011–2015.
SP9292 pts. - Wine Spectator - Nov 15, 2018
Fresh and focused, with spring blossom and smoke-tinged mineral aromas and flavors of plum, lemon curd and toast. A harmonious Champagne, with the racy spine of acidity and a delicate mousse carrying the lasting finish of spice, citrus and mineral. Drink now through 2023. 400 cases imported.
VN9090 pts. - Vinous - Jul 2017
The NV Grand Cellier is soft, open-knit and creamy, but as always done in the restrained, mid-weight style that is the house signature. Lemon confit, white flowers and mint open up first, followed by bright, chalky notes that extend the finish. This is a terrific showing from the Grand Cellier. This release is based on 2013, with reserve wines from 2012 and 2011. Dosage is 9 grams per liter. Disgorged December 2015.
