Item #: 47447

WE9090 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 9/1/2023
Pretty classic 100% stainless-steel Willamette Valley Pinot Gris that aged sur lie for four months. Aromas of watermelon drizzled with sea salt, rosemary and pine needles lead to flavors of lime, Marcona almonds and lemony Citra hops. Brisk acidity and a crisp mouthfeel. (Michael Alberty)
SP8888 pts. - Wine Spectator - Dec 15, 2023
Crisp yet luscious, with easygoing yet floral lemongrass and melon flavors. Drink now. 115,000 cases made. (Tim Fish)
VN8888 pts. - Vinous - Jan 2024
The 2022 Pinot Gris is nuanced in the glass, with hints of crushed apple and chamomile forming its bouquet. Round textures and orchard fruits soothe, taking on a touch of tropical melon toward the close. It finishes fresh, leaving a tactile mineral tinge and slowly fading sweet spice. (Eric Guido)

Antiquum Farm Daisy Pinot Gris

Item #: 58382

WE9191 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 4/1/2023
Daisy is a poster child for minerality. Saline, peach and Golden Delicious apples dominate the wine’s aromatic set. Supporting notes include sunflower seeds and wet pavement and dry chalk. Flavors of apricot and lemon curd join a salty-herbaceous note similar to La Panzanella’s rosemary mini-cracker. (Michael Alberty)

The label speaks of sourcing from “prime vineyards on Oregon’s coast” though no such vineyards exist, the coast being subject to ocean-driven storms and weather. It’s almost jet-black in color, light in flavor, with suggestions of black cherries, new mowed grass, and plenty of tobacco and vanilla. (Paul Gregutt)

Averaen Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

2022 / 750 ml.

Item #: 47041

JS9191 pts. - JamesSuckling.com - Tuesday, December 5, 2023
I like the crushed stone minerality here, alongside aromas of cherries, violets and cacao beans. It’s medium-bodied, firm and nicely framed. Excellent focus. Drink or hold. (James Suckling)
WE8585 pts. - Wine Enthusiast - 12/31/2023
Smoked blackberries, orange cake and the trifecta of fennel, thyme and oregano aromas made for a good start. The flavors of blackcap raspberries and ginger was also nice. What acted as a distraction was the wine’s stringent tannins. This pinot with pucker power may require time or decanting. (Michael Alberty)

Erath Oregon Pinot Noir

2021 / 750 ml.

Item #: 44814

WS9090 pts. - Wine & Spirits - 02/23
This is a steal for the way its savor and black cherry collide on the palate. It starts off with an herbal riff on cut-leaf tobacco. The tannins are firm and a touch furry, but the wine’s acids buoy the flavors into a bright burst on the finish.
JD8989 pts. - Jeb Dunnuck - 9/17/2023
The 2021 Pinot Noir Oregon is composed of 60% fruit from the Willamette Valley, 40% fruit from the Umqua Valley, and a bit from the Rogue Valley. It pours a transparent medium ruby and is forward with somewhat primary and juicy aromas of ripe red berries, crushed flowers, and a hint of forest spice. Easy-drinking and medium-bodied, it lifts cleanly off the palate and is straightforward, with a lot of charm for early drinking. Bottled under screwcap with 350,000 cases produced. (Audrey Frick)

Shop for Pinot Grigio

Pinot Grigio, or Pinot Gris in some parts, is one of the most popular white wines around, known for its light body and food-friendliness. Grown all over the wine map, Pinot Grigio wine is especially celebrated in Italy, Alsace, and Oregon.

While the Italian version of Pinot Grigio is crisp and light, Pinot Gris in Alsace is generally bolder and fatter, with flavors that match the region's cuisines. Oregon also produces a more flavorful version of Pinot Gris wine, often with notes of apple, peach, and almonds.

If you're looking for Pinot Grigio wine with a soft, gentle texture that will please the palate, look no further than WineTransit.com!
